Job Description
Join our team as a Back Office Specialist, responsible for identifying and analyzing suspicious activities in the German market. In this role, you will play a key role in protecting the integrity of our online banking services, detecting potential fraud, ensuring compliance, and supporting our commitment to security and transparency.
Responsibilities:
Fraud Detection: Monitor transactions and analyze data to identify unusual patterns or potential fraud.
Data Analysis: Use advanced tools to assess financial activities and report suspicious behavior.
Compliance Support: Ensure compliance with German and European banking regulations, maintaining up-to-date records of investigations and actions taken.
Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on suspicious transactions for compliance and legal teams.
Collaboration: Work closely with fraud investigators, compliance officers, and other departments to escalate cases requiring further action.
Process Improvement: Identify gaps in current fraud detection systems and propose improvements to optimize their efficiency and accuracy.
Client Account Review: Conduct periodic risk assessments on high-risk accounts to prevent fraudulent activities.
Required profile:
Language: Native German speaker.
Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in fraud detection, financial analysis, or a similar role in the banking or fintech sector.
Knowledge of German and European anti-fraud regulations is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, or fraud detection software).
Experience with a CRM or banking software is an advantage.
Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
Confidentiality: Excellent ethical standards and ability to handle sensitive data discreetly.
